Bournemouth University Psychology School Overview

This Master’s course adopts a patient-centred approach to teaching the origins and range of clinical psychology. It has rapidly become established for producing sound, highly employable graduates within many branches of psychology.

The course is aimed at individuals who wish to gain an in-depth knowledge of clinical psychology in order to enhance their application to training programmes to qualify as a clinical psychologist. Delivery of the programme is typically 2 days per week on campus between October and May each year, with supervision arrangements for the dissertation in June and July. This delivery pattern allows students to plan and build their clinical portfolio more effectively.

Entry Requirements

A Bachelors Honours degree, 2:1 or above in psychology. Less standard/traditional qualifications and relevant experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
