Bournemouth University are offering an exciting range of scholarships this year to applicants with outstanding academic and personal profiles. All scholarships are for full-time degrees and are awarded as tuition fee reduction unless specified. They also offer international partnership scholarships for students progressing to BU from our partner institutions overseas.

You need to apply by 31 May 2015 for September 2015 entry or by 18 November 2015 for January 2016 entry for most BU scholarships.

Non-EU postgraduate

Academic Excellence Scholarship

• You’ll automatically receive a £3,000 award if you have a distinction profile from your Bachelor’s degree – see our website for grades required for international qualifications
• The award will be confirmed when your offer becomes Unconditional.

Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship

• 1 x 100% and 10 x 50% awards for applicants from China, India, Nigeria, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, USA and Vietnam
• Application by 31 March 2015.

Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme

• 2 x 100% awards plus return air fare and living costs
• MSc Public Health and MSc Tourism Management only (1 for each course) Application via the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission by 16 April 2015.

The Business School Dean’s Scholarship

• 50% awards for applicants from China, India, Nigeria, Russia, South Korea and Turkey
• 6 for September 2015 entry and 3 for January 2016 entry.

The Business School Dean’s MBA Scholarship

• 5 x 50% awards for September 2015 entry.

The Business School Dean’s ASEAN Scholarship

• 50% awards for applicants from Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, Lao PDR and Brunei Darussalam
• 6 for September 2015 entry and 3 for January 2016 entry.

Dean’s Scholarship – School of Tourism

• 50% awards for all applicants
• 6 for September 2015 entry and 3 for January 2016 entry.

Dean’s Scholarship – The Media School

• 4 x 50% awards for September 2015 entry.

Dean’s Scholarship – Faculty of Science & Technology

• 5 x 50% awards for September 2015 entry.

Dean’s Scholarship – School of Health & Social Care

• 5 x 50% awards for September 2015 entry.

Public Health Scholarship

• Unlimited 25% automatic awards to MSc Public Health applicants holding an Unconditional offer by 1 June 2015.

Non-EU undergraduate

Academic Excellence Scholarship

• You’ll automatically receive a £2,000 award for your first year of study at BU (for Year 1, 2, or 3 entry), if you’ve achieved ABB grade in A-level or equivalent international qualification from your pre-university study
• No application, the award will be confirmed when your offer is Unconditional.

BU Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship – most promising applicant (UG)

• 1 x 100% award for applicants from China, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Russia and Vietnam
• Application by 31 March 2015.
