In Ontario, ORPAS Offers of Admission for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy programs will be heading out to successful applicants beginning Friday May 17th, 2013.

We wish all applicants good luck!

In Ontario, there are only four universities that offer Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy:
McMaster University
Queen’s University
University of Toronto
Western University

Here are some stats from OUAC:

In 2012, over 4000 students applied to a Physiotherapy/Physical Therapy program in Ontario.  Only 1500 applicants were eligible and there were still only 282 spots available for the four schools.

2004: 1019 eligible applications were received  and only 230 spots were available.

2012: 1500 eligible applications were received and only 282 spots were available.

In eight years, there is an increase of 52 spots between the four universities with an increase of 500 eligible applicants. Chances of getting into a Physiotherapy program in Ontario are becoming more difficult.
