ACU students have expressed higher overall satisfaction with teaching, learning and skills development than students at other Australian universities, according to a national survey.

The Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching’s (QILT’s) 2015 Student Experience Survey (SES), published on Tuesday 10 May, demonstrates that ACU students scored the University more highly than the sector average in all key areas surveyed.

The ratings measure cities on their quality of universities, affordability, lifestyle, employment prospects and student community.

Additional factors such as pollution, safety, transparency and tolerance are also taken into consideration.

Sydney beat more than 80 cities including New York, Paris and London to the top spot, according to the 2014 Global Cities Index.

Global consultancy group A.T. Kearney, which compiled the index, ranked Sydney on top after studying international student populations.

ACU Business Scholarship extended to 2014

ACU’s Executive Dean’s Scholarship  for international students will be extended for the February and July intakes in 2014.   The scholarship is available to all international students commencing an undergraduate bachelor degree or postgraduate coursework program offered by the Faculty of Business. 

The ACU scholarship provides students with a tuition-fee waiver of AU$1,000 in their first semester.   After successfully completing all units in their first semester, ACU again provides students with a tuition-fee waiver of AU$1,000 for their next semester.  …
