So today I wanted to focus on a physiotherapy program and turn my attention towards the Master of Physiotherapy offered in Griffith University. KOM Consultants have worked with Griffith University for many years. They are one of our many partnered universities and KOM Consultants are lucky enough to be the application centre for this fantastic university.

The Master of Physiotherapy is offered full-time on-campus at the Gold Coast campus of Griffith University.  Griffith’s graduate-entry Physiotherapy program is the only pathway at Griffith University to qualification as an entry-level Physiotherapist. Just FYI :)

This coursework program builds on existing knowledge of exercise science, facilitates the development of clinical science and physiotherapy knowledge and skills, and stimulates integration of these areas.

As a full-time Griffith Physiotherapy student, you will generally attend 22-30 hours of scheduled classes per week (that’s manageable right?!) throughout the semester. Classes may be scheduled during the day and evening throughout the week.  To accommodate clinical placements during the Master of Physiotherapy program, students may be required to start and end semesters (and have vacation periods) outside the normal university academic periods at Griffith University.

Students of the Griffith’s School of Physiotherapy will graduate with solid knowledge in the science of exercise as well as the required attributes, skills and knowledge for practising physiotherapy and for contributing to the health of Australians.  In particular, Physiotherapy graduates will have a comprehensive grounding in musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, neurorehabilitation, community-based physiotherapy and indigenous health, ideal for entry-level practice anywhere in the world.  want to know more? I’m sure after reading this you’re now thinking of studying in Griffith University (you are aren’t you?!!) So I’ll leave you with some Good News/Bad News. OK, the GOOD News; Griffith University is awesome (true story) and is spread over five campuses between Brisbane and the Gold Coast in south-east Queensland, a beautiful part of the world. The BAD news is that there’s only 5 seats available for International students on this Master of Physiotherapy program! If you want one of those seats, get in touch
