Bangor University invited KOM Consultants over the week before last for a 5 day agent workshop where we got to meet faculty members and a lot of international students,  and tour the campus and surrounding area. It was a great week that made me want to go back to University! I will be posting various blogs about Bangor on their different programs, living costs, scholarships, facilities …… all that good stuff but because it’s Monday, I thought I’d keep it light and kick off with a photo blog so you can see what I saw! Enjoy!

This is Nant Gwynant (or so my iPhone tells me) which is in the Valley of Snowdonia…about 20 mins away from the University of Bangor. They are also 20mins away from a lovely beach! Mountains and beaches, right on your doorstep!

This is the fabulous library at Bangor University where I disturbed a lot of students from studying by taking a lot of photos

In the summer or just when the sun is out really you’ll find a lot of students chilling out here in this lovely enclosed courtyard!

Just a lecture hall at Bangor University, no big deal! I don’t know how students concentrate in this lecture hall!

A classroom attached to an electronics lab which is very rare for any university. Most labs and classrooms are separate. This allows the lectures to start with a short lecture of theory and then the class walk through the double doors to practice what they’ve just been thought!

Bangor University are quite unique in that they have their very own MRI machine that students both undergrad, postgrad and PhD students can get to use it for their dissertation or class projects. Most students have to go to a Hospital to get work time on an MRI machine.
