Macquarie University’s Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Australia, students will complete all of the core units of study required for professional accreditation of the LLB, as well as core units that ensure Macquarie University graduates are ready to work in a globalized market.

Students also undertake one of seven majors, allowing them to take units from outside the Law School and develop a broad, advanced understanding of a specialized area of law throughout the program.

A wide-range of law electives, allowing students to develop their knowledge throughout the field, completes the program.

Students who undertake the single LLB at Macquarie University may potentially transfer into a double degree Bachelor of Laws (LLB) program, or may seek to complete a Masters degree in their area of specialization.

When Macquarie University’s Law School in Australia was established in 1972, it became the third oldest Law School in the state of New South Wales.
