Bournemouth University’s Law courses are Qualifying Law Degrees (QLDs) that give students the option to specialize in a specific area of law, such as business, entertainment or taxation, each of which can lead to challenging and exciting career opportunities.

Each Law course offered through Bournemouth Law School in England includes an optional placement year in commerce and industry and this combination or qualification with work experience will set you apart from graduates from other universities.

With all Law degrees at Bournemouth, the emphasis is placed on understanding rather than just learning the law and students are encouraged to investigate areas which interest them, culminating in an individual final year dissertation.

Year 3:

Students will complete a 40-week placement which can be carried out anywhere in the world. The placement year offers a chance to gain experience of legal practice and make contacts for the future. If your placement meets the necessary criteria it can count towards 20 weeks of your training contract after graduation.

student, the placement year is optional.
