Griffith University’s Undergraduate Bachelor of Laws (LLB) program in Australia is a professional legal qualification that has direct entry for students holding a High School Diploma, or students with partial completion of an undergraduate degree (from any discipline). This degree is designed to prepare students for a professional legal career in Australia, Canada, and other international jurisdictions.

This program will be attractive to students who have the ambition to enter the legal profession and who are intent on studying law. It provides students with a comprehensive grounding in law. The program provides the academic training necessary to practice as a lawyer, as well as opening many career opportunities in both the public and private sector.

Student who achieve a GPA of 5.0 or higher in their first year of the program can apply to Griffith’s Law School to undertake an accelerated program which may enable students to complete their studies within three years at Griffith’s Law School in Australia.

The Griffith Law School through their undergraduate entry Bachelor of Laws (LLB) offers a professional legal curriculum that focuses on the core areas of legal practice together with legal skills that lawyers must have. Griffith Law’s LLB provides students with opportunities to choose law electives that are aligned with your own particular interests including clinical courses that emphasize practical legal skills, insights and experience. Canadian students can also take advantage of study abroad opportunities and gain credit towards your Griffith Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree for approved courses taken at international universities.

Students will also simultaneously study within a number of special course areas called `vertical courses’. These courses allow and encourage you to make connections between the discipline of law and the areas of ethics, legal theory, Indigenous issues, and internationalization. Through the study of these and other areas, the curriculum offered at Griffith’s Law School encourages interdisciplinary understandings of law and legal work.

’s Institute for Glycomics will open its doors to the public to showcase to the community its malaria vaccine project.

The malaria vaccine research team, led by Professor Michael Good, have just finished clinical trials conducted at Griffith’s Gold Coast campus this year and have been working closely with expert infectious disease clinicians at Gold Coast University Hospital.

This is the second round of clinical trials to be conducted by the Institute for Glycomics to examine malaria vaccine strategies in humans. …
