Top 5 ways to celebrate spring in Melbourne!

La Trobe University! Melbourne really comes alive during spring time, so we’ve put together the top 5 ways to enjoy this marvellous city in the spring.

  1. Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival – one of Melbourne’s premier sporting and cultural events, the Spring Racing Carnival is an iconic celebration of the warmer weather in Melbourne. Run across 64 days, the Carnival is more than just high-profile horse racing, it’s a combination of the best food, fashion and fun Melbourne has to offer.
  1. La Trobe University Museum of Art (LUMA) – LUMA, on La Trobe’s Melbourne Campus, hosts contemporary exhibitions designed to explore social, cultural and political themes. It also manages La Trobe University’s Art Collection, including our vast Sculpture Park. You can organise a guided or self-guided tour of our Sculpture Park – and spring is the perfect time to do it!
