Curtin University Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Overview

The Curtin Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Australia is a four-year degree covered over three calendar years. However, applicants who have completed a recognized tertiary bachelor’s degree may receive credit for up to one year’s study, allowing them to complete the Bachelor of Laws Degree in two calendar years, plus one trimester by undertaking extra units within trimester-based studies

The Curtin Bachelor of Laws LLB offers a unique opportunity to specialize in one of two high demand areas for law graduates. These are mining, resources and energy law or governance and regulatory compliance. There is a strong need for law graduates with either of these specializations.

Curtin’s Bachelor of Laws LLB degree is offered by the Department of Law within Curtin Law School in Australia and is the required qualification for all who wish to enter into legal practice. This course offers a rich and professionally relevant coverage of foundational areas of legal knowledge as well as developing the core skills essential to effective legal practice.

researchers have found children who spend a lot of time watching television, have poorer and weaker bones in young adulthood which could significantly impact their health in later life.

Lead researcher Dr Joanne McVeigh, Curtin’s School of Occupational Therapy and Social Work, said the study examined the TV viewing habits of 1,181 young adults over their childhood and adolescence years and related these to how strong their bones were at age 20. …
