Pharmacy programs are delivered at an undergraduate level.  Students may apply directly from high school or university. It is advised that students have background knowledge in Science related subjects.

Pharmacy programs may require supplementary applications with mandatory fees when applying, as well as an interview. Students may seek academic credit for their university program when applying for an undergraduate degree.

It is the student’s responsibility to contact their local credentialing body for re-entry pathways.  The Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) is the national certification body for the pharmacy profession in Canada. Upon returning, students must go through an evaluation procedure with the PEBC.
