What Is Chiropractic

Chiropractic is an important part of complementary medicine that recognizes the importance of body structures and how they affect health. Practitioners engage in spinal adjustment and manipulation as well as other measures to treat abnormalities of structure and function, and to assist the natural recuperative powers of the body. In many countries, including Australia, a professional license is required to practice as a chiropractor.

It is the student’s responsibility to contact their local credentialing body for re-entry pathways. The Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board (CCEB) is the national certification body for the chiropractic profession in Canada. Upon returning, students must go through an evaluation procedure with the CCEB.

All students interested in Chiropractic should contact KOM Consultants for full details on application processes.
