Course content

Core units

  • Law of International Trade

This unit will enable you to appreciate the relationship between legal principles and commercial practice, and to recognize the practices and procedures where goods are traded nationally and commercially.

  • Strategic Financial Management

The aim of this unit is to develop your analytical and evaluative skills in order to be a strategic financial decision maker in a global business context. You will critically analyze complex national and international business situations and offer solutions and make decisions as appropriate for a financial manager.

  • Financial Regulation

This unit will give you an insight into the key financial regulatory theories, forms and rationale of regulation relevant to the financial sector so that you may engage with, develop and critically analyze regulatory concepts and systems that meet the needs of both the regulator and the regulated.

  • Investment Management

This unit aims to enable you to understand the theoretical principles that underpin investment management and their consequential practical application. It will inform you of the current features of capital markets and savings products which will prepare you for business and personal investment.
